Veronna Dizon LCSW PMH-C

Hello and Welcome!

I commend you for your courage to enter this space and take that first step to take care of you!

I have been counseling people of all ages and from all walks of life for close to 20 years, which means not only do I love being a therapist and the work I do; but I also have loads of experience that just might resonate with you

perinatal mental health

So, who might I be the right therapist for?

Well, quite possibly YOU! If you’re looking for someone warm, welcoming, easy to talk to, accepting and human!

Honestly though, clients see me to work through anxious and sad feelings, or if they’re dealing with some big and not-so-big life challenges.

I’ve often been that same therapist they feel comfortable coming back to after some time away, be it for a check-in or refresher or as they embark upon a new chapter in life.

From working in hospitals, counseling patients and families in labor and delivery, the NICU, Oncology, Emergency Room & ICU floors, to counseling elementary, high school, college students and beyond,

it’s been a privilege to be able to help people navigate

the ever-changing seasons of life.

So stay a while, take a look around my site; and if what you read resonates…

Please reach out to book a free 10-15 minute consultation.

 Thoughts about a Good Life

“The Good Life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.” - Carl Rogers

What Does It Mean to Live

a Good Life?

I wholeheartedly believe that each & everyone of us is worthy of a good life.

While we all have different ideas of what that looks like, I think of a good life as one that leaves us feeling content and good enough, more days than not.

In spite of the highs & lows, what society wants us to believe or the challenges we may encounter, we begin to accept struggles as simply a part of life - a good life nonetheless- and develop and discover healthy ways to cope and carry on.

The good life is when we are kind and compassionate, not just to others, but to ourselves as well.

Of course, it’s not always easy; but I believe it’s the direction we want to go.

It’s what we strive for; and it’s where therapy can make the difference.
